Dawn Montemayor, Head of Cyber Security & Privacy at FusionTECH, is a highly accomplished business leader and consultant with more than 21 years of success within business strategy, information security & technology, and overall risk management.

She has helped several small to medium size companies as V-CISO in designing, building, and executing on a roadmap and corresponding action plans that align the business with their security and compliance goals cohesively across the organization. Additionally, Montemayor successfully built out an entire information security and compliance department for NASCAR and the publicly traded facilities division International Speedway Corporation (ISC) prior to their merger in 2019.

Montemayor specilaizes in assisting clients build out succinct roadmaps to enhance their security posture while reducing risk and minimizing costs, with a focus on making security a business enabler. Her areas of expertise include security and compliance strategies, policy and program development and management, project management, program/project budget management, risk mitigation, security awareness, architecture and engineering, security monitoring and management, incident response, vendor selection, security and compliance assessments, vulnerability management, and the unique ability to redesign, update, and execute overall strategy succinctly.

As a security and compliance experienced leader and project manager, she has the attention to detail and results driven mentality to manage complex projects to a successful delivery for her clients. This includes utilizing existing processes in the build-out and gaining buy in from the business to propel the business forward.
