Bio

Matt Benepe, the Lead Executive Producer at FusionTECH, is a creative content visionary.

His experience as a hands-on producer allows for effective issue mitigation and streamlined creative management, with an ability to oversee multi-disciplined deliverables including video, design, experiential activations, VR, fabrication, and development.

Benepe’s creative passion started at a young age.  His mom, an art teacher, shared her love of art and surrounded him with it. He adored drawing and painting as a child, growing into the visual arts as he matured.  His first job at a video store provided the opportunity to watch thousands of movies, spurring an interest in the creative process which led to a Bachelor of Arts in Film from Columbia College Chicago.

His professional career kicked-off as a Tony Hawk video game editor, content writer, and video conceptualizer who also managed all external production vendors. Challenging himself and branching out, he moved into experiential production to apply video, motion graphics and VR knowledge in a unique way.

He excels in the creative process.  Listening to the client, brainstorming, and ultimately seeing the vision come to life is what Benepe loves about his job.

“There is something to be learned from a rainstorm. When meeting with a sudden shower, you try not to get wet and run quickly along the road. But doing such things as passing under the eaves of houses, you still get wet. When you are resolved from the beginning, you will not be perplexed, though you will still get the same soaking. This understanding extends to everything.”
